I'll include the text and photos below in case it get's deleted. Yes, I know this is obviously a joke, but it's a great one!

Pinball Wall Art - $100000 (Flagstaff)

Up for sale is a one of a kind piece of art. You may wonder how a 50 dollar pinball machine with 40 dollars worth of lights is suddenly worth 100k, i'll tell you, its art! And art is worth whatever someone chooses it to be worth. I arrived at 100k using this formula, $50 + $40 + thousands of hours of work. What took thousands of hours? Well to the layman's eye it might look like i just painted it with some black spray paint. However i actually used a stipple technique which consists of making millions of small dots with a single horsehair and since the pinball machine's original color was yellow, this took several applications to get the overall solid black appearance. Then since 1978 particle board isn't very sturdy i reenforced the edges with 2x4's i had around laying around my house. Now if you are some rich fat cat art connoisseur and think you can swoop in and offer me a paltry 10k or something i will be forced to laugh in your face! And then we can discuss where and when is a good time to meet, i can deliver in a 14,500 mile area. In the future when hanging pinball wall art is all the rage, a mere 100k would be a steal. Its like getting Picasso's first coloring book for 10 bucks. NO LOWBALLERS. If serious and really rich, please put in the subject line "I have a briefcase full of money for you, please take it". Thanks for looking.

I wouldn't pay a cent over $35,000 for that. beauty is in the eye of the beholder I suppose.

Gah! What a waste

What a waste of a good pinball machine.

No game should have to die so horrible a death.

I think some of you are missing the point. I don't think the Pinball belongs to the guy who posted the ad. I think he is making fun of someone else who posted it in the past.

Yeah, this is the kind KB would clearance for 40 bucks. Small, pointless and worthless. No real machines getting harmed here and pretty damn funny ad.

Not missing the point

I'm not missing the point. I know he is making fun of it, but it's still sad to see a machine that is completely destroyed by some idiot, in the name of art. (or worse yet, making humor at making a buck).

Making "art" even for the purpose of selling it for a nutty fee, by destroying a work of art - I'm sorry, but if that isn't pointless, what is?

Eh, I'd hardly call taking the legs off of a dollar store toy pinball machine from the 90s a work of art, but I see where you're coming from. It would have been a lot funnier if it was reversible, I agree.
