The Fluke 9010a Club

Does anyone have a 9132A Personality module for a 68000 they would be willing to open and dump the EPROM and PAL and post them.

I would be keen to draw up and share a schematic and pcb layout for the personality module so people with a 9100A/FT and 9132A/FT could create 68000 personality module for it. Hopefully the IDC connector used on it is available.

The 9132A is not the same as a 68000 Pod, but could still be very useful.

I just managed to acquire the 68020, 68030 and 80386 personality modules with only the 68020 and 68030 adapters. Hopefully I can draw up a 68000 adapter schematic and do a pcb for it. If anyone has the 68000 adapter module a pic of it would also be great.
The A variant of the 68020, 68030 and 80386 personalities are quite common as they were all included in the AF package. Anything else is either hard or very hard to find. I have the 9132A-68000 personality but dumping it requires removing/damaging the label and desoldering the PAL and EPROM. I'm not doing that sorry. I did upload the manual and userdisks. Also there are at least 3 different versions of the PCB inside the personality. I can check the docs when I get home as to which others use the same as the 68000. Edit: It uses the same pcb as the 3 you have so you can just disassemble one of those. Also the connector is https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/te-connectivity-amp-connectors/104068-5/134238

Thanks for the info. totally understand not wanting to break the label and do the desoldering.

I will be breaking the labels for the 68020, 68030 and 80386 I have, removing and dumping the EPROMs and trying to dump the PALs. I think it is good to get them archived. Hopefully John can add them to the Flippers archives. There is already a dump of the 68030 personality module chips on there, I will check if mine are the same.

I will keep hoping we have someone willing to break the label where the 2 screws are and desolder the EPROM and PAL to dump them on the 68000 and others as well.

A quick look shows almost all the pins for the EPROM go to the connector, so maybe an adapter can be made to get those. Sadly, I can see, not all PAL pins go to the connector, so will not be as easy.

I will desolder them and draw up a schematic of the 9132A-3010 Rev A personality module. I can try and look at the EPROM code to see what can be learned from them when I have some time to do that.

Here are the pcbs. I forgot I scanned them when I had to make a 64180 personality using a surplus 80386.

I've never heard of anyone else having a 9132A-68000 but you never know.

I already dumped the PALs and EPROMs for the 80386 and 68020 back when I repurposed them. I never bothered uploading them anywhere as I doubt anyone else is interested.

I'm the one that bought that 6809 on eBay last week..I had no idea he was advertising it on klov. I was looking for a 6502 pod in an eBay search and the 6809 popped up for sale in the seach so I snagged it. Supposed to arrive next Monday according to tracking.

I managed to get a faulty early 6800 pod recently on eBay.
UUT connector pins are mostly bent flat, it is the early version single 40 pin flat ribbon cable. UUT Pins connect to appropriate IDC header pins, no pins are interconnected or swapped. Will repair it to get the pod working and then test it with my dual cable UUT adapter.
Have received it and stripped it down. It is a pcb set that can be converted between 6800 and 6502. It is an original Fluke 6800 Pod, interface looks to be factory converted from a 6502 config to a 6800 config.
I have started comparing the parts to the 6502 manual and schematic (as pcb's are almost the same). The interface pcb is the same as the 6502 manual which shows the 6800 interface pcb. The processor pcb is different but layout and parts appear the same.
There must be an early version of the 6800 manual that shows these pcbs. The later 6800 1984 version uses different pcb's.
Does anyone have this early 6800 manual ? It would be great to know the part number and possibly one day get a scan of it.

Bitsavers has a repository for almost all of the manuals

The flippers (techtools) site has much more than this. Unfortunately it's ftp only and a bit disorganized. Windows explorer still has ftp support even though browsers don't.

ftp.flippers.com

6800 manual there (ftp://ftp.flippers.com/TTL/TestEquipment/Fluke/9XXX%20Pods/PDFs/) is dated June 1984.

I have gone through those and others for pdfs of manuals. I have not come across an earlier 6800. If I did I did not realize then it used different PCB's and went for the later one thinking it was just a revision. There must have been one for the earlier 6800 (around June 1981) as the instruction part of the manual for the 6502 Pod are specific to it.

June 1981 edition just got listed on eBay.

I don't love this seller (bought a manual from them before that was supposedly in excellent condition and it arrived full of pen writing which they refused to accept responsibility for).

Thanks for that. I have grabbed it.
I know it's not in great condition. I purchase these manuals for the content, so it is ok for what I need.

Rare! 6809 hits all the early fun arcade games, way better than having the 68000 in my opinion... how much that set you back? $500? $1000? more?
