The end of the world is near . . . what game do you play?

So with all of the drama on KLOV lately . . . I thought we should get back to what's important - the games!!! Stay focused people.

Okay, all the ill will on KLOV has caused the earth to spin out of its orbit . . .the end is upon us. You have time to play only one more game (only one game, no multi-game, mame).

What game do you play and why?

I will play Missile Command, as it is the one game that really captivated me as a kid back in the day. It was also the first game I purchased (started me on this sick addiction). Also, I am pretty good at it, so the end of the world would come a little later for everyone else. :D

Peace out.

This is a tough one. I would normally say Space Invaders Deluxe because it was my first game and the game I played at my grandma's bar which is now mine, but if I had to choose now I would say DK because I can play it for around 30 minutes then end wouldn't be as quick.

I'd have to go with Tron. That was the first game I collected, I love playing it. I remember thinking, it would be cool to own "one" game.... It also gives me the biggest flashback as far as arcade games go.

Does a game of peek-a-boo with my daughter count?

I'd play Gorf because I love the challenge, and it brings back many memories; from the newest ones all the way back to Feb. of '83 when I first played it. I'd kick the Gorfian Robots' asses while the earth blew up.

I'd play a game that involves a joystick and some buttons, but I doubt there would be any electricity needed...

I was thinking the same thing. I think its called "the horizontal Bop."

Crystal Castles, to try and finish with an 800K+ score and then some vs. Castlevania. Not super classic classics, but its what i'd do...

Sea Wolf. Really really love that game and i think it has become my favorite in the gameroom. Loved playing it as a kid, love playing it as the kid i am now. Everything about it rocks. The look, sounds, the periscope etc, really a sophisticated game for 1976.
