Brought home 2 games today. They both play blind, but they are SUPER clean and definitely cant wait to get them running. Ever since I sold my Space Duel, I have been dying to play another Atari vector. Both have their manuals. The seller is supposedly going to give me the extra boards and parts he has for the Tempest as soon as he finds them, which I hope he keeps to his word.

But anyways, for $90 each, I wouldnt call this a bad haul :)

I swear if you post that all they needed was a "fuse" to get them running I'm driving to Reno and kicking you in the balls.....

Seriously though nice score.

After a successful Bob Roberts rebuild (cap kit and transistors), new fuse, and light bulb replacement, Battlezone lives!!!

typical atari prob,i take it you recapped the ar power supply?

atari can be right old pain in the ass and then again they are easy to get the hang of fixing, they seem to have inherant power supply probs and bad edge connectors.

Nope, rebuilt the G05-802 monitor and repaired a toasted connector on the monitor. I have yet to encounter any ARII or power supply problems with any of my Atari games. *knock on wood*
