Nice read. I'm glad those videos I made of the Tempest protos are still useful. These was nothing out there to show them at the time.
 
It's always interesting to get this kind of historical info on the golden age.
I failed history a couple of times in high school. Too bad they didn't teach this stuff back then.

I'm glad to see others are interested in this too. I pointed this out to Mark S. when he asked about ideas for a tempest multi-kit a few weeks ago. Maybe it will pick up more steam.
