Hey all,
Feel free to hate it. And honestly, I think it would look better in black or grey. Piano Black lacquer would be awesome. But it does seem to to have that TRON look to it. At least to me. As for it being overpriced, your preaching to choir. Could I make a nicer one, I think if I really put my mind to it I could, but it would be like a year project. So maybe the price is warranted. And I do like the comment that should be a disclaimer for the auction

As for Egret and Candies being nicer mame cabs, I'm just not a big fan. I'd take a Dynamo HS-5 over most of the plastic cabs any day. Not that all my HS-5s are nicer. I just think the HS-5 has the traditional look and feel of the games without the oversized toy look of the Candies. I look at the Candy Cabs as more of really fancy game stations. You set down to play them and the have the screen the size of a mid sized television. But anyways. I just thought the showcase cab looked cool. Not 2400 cool, but cool nonetheless.

An Egret is 95 % metal and a lot of Candy's are close to all metal , not plastic .
Also that Ebay monstrosity looks horrendous .
