The coolest MAME machine I ever saw

Despite that sweet looking marble contact paper, I would have a hard time justifying the price over $2,200. :D

Actually, as for as MAME crap goes, this is not bad. If I were to do something with a Showcase cab, it would be alot like this. Not the best, but certainly not the worst.

That's not even a real MAME cab... well, it is... but it isn't.

That is a 1xxx-in-1 board slapped in there. (well a 2xxx-in-1)...

Agreed that is the easy way out! Ive been slowly configuring hyperspin and its a tough heartless bitch sometimes. Which reminds me I should finish my showcase mame and sell it for like 8000 dollars since it has a trackball and aimtraks. Even though Im only about 300-400 in.

All that blue light gives me a headache.
It's like a ricer got ahold of a 33" showcase cabinet.

...and apparently couldn't be bothered with reconnecting the coin slot lamps to 5VDC.

I would rather have one of these Egrets. The monitors also rotate on these cabinets. 27" high quality monitor in a nice portable cabinet.

It needs a glowing blue Tron-esq control stick to go with all the other glowing blue stuff. I just don't dig the light up buttons at all and I really don't dig the light up joystick. Overkill for me.

What could you possibly like about that cabinet? The smallish monitor? The huge, hard to move around cabinet? The hard to access Jamma harness?

You can't compare a Showcase cab to a Candy cab LOL

Candy cabs are in a league all of their own. One day I'm gonna get one and yes, the Egret II's are very nice.

There was a cooler one in Milwaukee for $300.00 in a super showcase style like what my GT Complete is in. Had blue T-Molding and Blue lighting, I almost went for it would be ideal.

Overkill on the led buttons and joys.
The lights as well. It's too distracting
And with all of that flash, it's one of the most plain cabs I've seen.
No marquee? No side art? No bezel? Huge ass CP on no track ball or other switches?

Dynamo showcases are really effin nice if you have the room for them. It's the only reason why I don't own one myself. It's because they are heavy, and huge!

I would of made it all black, and used a darker color if you were to use led lights so they are not distracting the player as they play.

Another thing that is overkill is the price. Over 2k? really? I could find and do a better set up in half of the cost.

these don't seem that easy to find. tho i love the idea and yes i'd love to have one thank you!

Showcase cabs are saweet tho, 30-40"+ of goodness, but yes huge and yes heavy. i gotta say that showcase cab with the lights isn't one of the worst i've seen but i agree it looks like it's from fast and furious (can't put it all on the ricers either as domestics do it too).

I guess if your going for that nightclub look tho it's right up your alley.
