DP Louie I love the Pacman NEONS! I'm thinking about picking some of those up....
Nash, where did you get that "Arcade" sign with the Pacman in it? That is BAD A$$!! Is that a custom made sign?
Cool thread, some REALLY sweet lights out there!!!

Not arcade but it is video game related (and authentic)

I also had a 20" lumiglass that I was going to take a picture of. I went to plug it in, fade - pop. Damn. Those are so expensive to replace!

Below are some of my lights and signs...

I told him he needs to start selling these things..... He just doesn't have any interest.
Wish I could help. It's a pretty simple circuit that controls it, the "brains" of it is a microprocessor, and he programmed that himself, I have very little knowledge of how to program microprocessors....
Before he offered to build it for me I was going to go a model railroad website and find something to run it. I know they sell all sorts of circuits to run stops lights, railroad lights, and I'd assume your walk sign......

FYI, this kind of already exists but still very cool of your friend to design and build one for you!!!

This is what I have in my traffic light!

Now vtn that's my type of bar :)

Thanks. I am proud how the end result for the oak bar turned out. Unfortunately, though it is 4 feet across, I still need more room for my bottles (see to the lower right). I have been tempted to build a larger one and include some embedded led lighting.

@ MadocOwain -- how are the marquees mounted on your bar? Just curious. I may want to do something similar with my bar.

The panel has cutouts for the marquees, some kind of staples in the back to hold them in place, and fluorescent lighting behind the panel to illuminate the marquees. If I have a marquee that's the same dimensions as one of the others in the panel, I can swap it in by removing a wooden screw cover set, removing some wood screws, and dropping the panel forward.

I have just a little odd sign. Just a little bit of surplus from the BK of a local computer company.
