A LONG time coming. its finally coming to a close.
A quick brief history.
Originally started back in 2007 I think I set out to do just 2 pieces
The C&D marquee and orginal Speaker grill overlay. (only 10qty each)
As time passed new pieces were added, qtys changed, orginal films were found
and over the years the project became a complete collection of as far as we know
reproducing EVERY piece of art and EVERY REVISION of art done for BOTH
Cloak & Dagger and Agent X

This will ONLY be sold by Rick/RoadRunner and NOT ThisOldGame
hes had a list for those interrested in purchasing this package
as well as a standby list and I dont know what that current status is.
other than I know some have lost interest and dropped off.

Now for the Plan
Im sending Rick the last of the "flat" pieces this coming week.
and he will begin to start taking money for the project.
and shipping all flat pieces well flat which will include :
-C&D Marquee
-Agent X Marquee
-SGO RevA
-SGO RevB
-SGO RevC
-Control Panel Overlay

along with some special unique suprizes.

Then Ill be finishing up the sideart which will ship seperatly rolled along with the kickplate.
which is allready finshed

I need to update my project blog on this but for those not following the progress
it can be found here

Just as an FYI for everyone...I will see what option is cheaper...

1.) Shipping the kickplate with the flat pieces

Or option 2 as mentioned by Rich..

2.) Shipping the kickplate separately with the sideart. I have boxes that will work for flats and should fit kickplate too however since this has taken so long I'd like to ship out the kickplate too since it is done and in my hands.

Once I receive the flat pieces later this week I'll be sending out the final update and costs and I will make a final decision on that.

Thanks to those who hung in there all these years......

Rick

Very nice to see this moving along.

Scott C.

I would like to purchase one of the C&D sets... so how do I go about doing this???

You will need a flux capacitor and 1.21 gigawatts. :D

Seriously, this boat has sailed... long ago. But, as with all things arcade, people change their mind and don't buy what they said they wanted.

Contact Rick and get on his list.

:)

WOW MY game will now have art !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and I thought I was going to hit 40 before we got this.

NOW if only I could get my edot and dot plastics ..................

Anyone that missed out, I still have a couple sets of metal left which consists of the control panel and speaker grill. All powder coated black and specifically made for this project. Fits a dedicated crystal castles cabinet. $167 shipped in USA 48 for both pieces.

I hate to be a vulture, but I really hope enough people have dropped off the list so that I can get a set. I've even already procured the repro metal parts from Takeman, a new marquee frame from DPtwiz, and a working PCB from Raven. Hate to have to bother selling all that stuff off, and not so inclined to go with solvent stuff if done later. :/

i recal submitting my name to you for this back when the project started. i was told i was added to the list... seriously like in 2007

how do i and others out there where we stand in terms of having the opportunity to purchase a set.???

did any information ever get released on pricing, # of sets available, etc...
Rick[/QUOTE]

if it's anything like a typical interest thread, 15% will actually purchase.

It's even worse than the typical interest thread, this project has had a much more substantial incubation period. :p

Right, or better yet you post about interest in a really cool project that would be unheard of, and anonymous people tag your post like little bitches.

Im glad I hung in there too!!! right rick?
how many sets are you making? cause im still interested in one.

Jon

First of all I'm not making the sets....Rich Lint from thisoldgame is actually printing this stuff...I arranged to borrow the films from Scott Evans and fronted the money for the last five years....any inquiries into why it has taken so long should be directed to Rich Lint not me...the answer is long and not worth going into but Rich can go into that with anyone wanting to know. This has been hashed over many times before but as stated there was no money collected to this point...but this project will get done come hell or high water as others have now stepped up (ie Takeman, DPTWiz, and some others to make products related to the game)...What most might not know is that most of the pieces are already done....I have some of them in my hands..but I don't want to collect money till I have all the pieces in hand with the exception of the sideart which will be done and shipped by itself..because of size.
Rich only has one set of screens and my project isn't as high profile as the big boys apparently so it is what it is.

Jon I don't know if you being a jerk with your comment or actually think I'd worry about what you think about this project...trust me I'm not losing sleep over it....Maybe someone will sell you their set that they've waited to get for the last five years..then again maybe not;)

There are about 10 people on the waiting list for this stuff with all the art sets already spoken for at this point so your not staying on the list really didn't make a bit of difference either way...and to be honest there are several others who lost interest..and I totally understand..there were no hard feelings with them...your situation was different and you know what I'm taking about...when the stuff is done...it will sell out so its no big deal. This is a small project designed for the few hardcore collectors who appreciate this particular cabinet art and gameplay.

im not sure my previous comment came through clear... was posting on the phone///

it was for Roadrunner

im sure Many people expressed interest over the years but i recal reaching out early on when the project was first announced. I recieved a very kind and enthusiastic email from you that, in short, stated i was on a list.

i just wanted to know if that was indeed the case... and as many others probably are wondering, where they stand "in line"

thanks man... and my posted wasnt intended to be rude or condesending.

Can you plug a Cloak & Dagger boardset into a Robotron machine?

If so, what about the "Igniter" button?
