I had posted this pic to another thread, but it seems more appropriate here...

QUESTION: I've been offered an Armor Attack with sound issues for a decent price. Is Armor Attack a fun game? Single player too?

AA gets a ton of play by collectors every time one is around. I don't personally care for it but I do understand the appeal.

In these cabs sound is on a dedicated board, so troubleshooting missing sounds shouldn't be too difficult.

Is that at Funspot ??

No, that's at the Supercade :)

Edit: Speed Freak was new in the original box. I actually had a *very* hard time taking it out at all.

It has been an amazing resource toward restoring other C/V games... seeing exactly what the finish on the carriage bolts should look like, etc.

We keep it in the conference room -- still in the styrofoam base -- so it is less likely to be damaged at all.

I saved the rest of the box, too.

I love Armor Attack. It is a super fun two player game... and the sounds are amazing -- the whoosh of chopper blades and morse code echo through the arcade -- so you would need to fix that! Single player is fun, too... but it's a totally different dynamic.

On the what things you did to regret you did to an arcade game. I pointed out the Space ACE NOS side art I used for wrapping paper. I even took a picture and posted it. I still have the box Sitting in the rafters collecting dust.

Most of that stuff has all gone away but I stil have little peices left here and there.

This is one of the NOS side art I found.

I thought this thread would be a nice place to post this.

someone I sold my CC said he was going to reproduce it. I don't think it ever happened..

I am sure maybe a dozen people would be interested in getting that scanned.. It would be great if you had the lbottom graphic too...

Don't know if I have the bottom graphics. I am sure I had it at one time but honestly most of that stuff got lost when the roof of the warehouse leaked. Most of the local dealers would not pay me anything for these. The only one who did offer me 15 cents. That how the Space Ace wrapping for wrapping paper happen.

I don't have a scanner big enough to scan it propperly. Maybe the boys at the geotech firm has a scanner larger enough to scan it in one shot.

I did find another NOS Side art It is another Vector Graphic game.
While I do remember the game I haven't seen it for a while..

Excuse the Dig dug And the tapper Glass holding on the edges. This NOS has been rolled up for more than 15 years..

another winner in my book. I am sure quite a few people would be interested. I would think maybe 20-30 people would buy a set if it got reproed as most cinematronics art got damaged.

You don't have to worry about scanning it, I am sure if you sell it to the right person, they will do it. I am pretty sure if you scan it in pieces it can be assembled into 1 image(obviously easier and better to do it in 1 pass).

as for what its worth. Hard to say. depends on if you have both sides. I would guess $100-$200. Ebay if you want top dollar. Ask for reasonable offers here and you will get many dorks who will respond with $10. But a few serious people would make a fair offer. hopefully you will pass them along to someone who can do the reproduction..

I would shoot off an email thisoldgame (Rikitiki here) and see if he has any interest in doing a repro of them. My RO has 95% of its art, but I would buy a set.

Hard to tell what these things are worth.
Just kind of happy I found people who appericate these things.
Star castle and Armor attack are always fun games. and I found a Little bit more NOS..

The amor attack Nos has an Edge issue.

It's always nice to see such an old in someone's collection. While I may have some of the art work kicking around. I never had the game it self. Thanks for sharing.
