The Cinematronics/ Vectorbeam Thread

Don't ever remember ever seeing that as well..... Cosmic Chasm was such a cool game! I only ever remember seeing one BITD... If I recall, the thing was always on the fritz...

There was one a California Extreme last year.

I had a game that fits this category that I picked up for free a while back. Never did restore it though. Do you only one games that we still have? Let me go scrounge around. I know I've got a pic or two somewhere.

:)
I like meth!

No no, that's not what I was referring to. Found a few pics. I can't believe I didn't take more and better pics. I think I did but I don't know where they are right now.

Love that game! So wish I had one or could even find one to play.

Love that control panel. Love it. Love the backdrop/overlay as well. Honestly, I played this game once but I thought it looked more like 2 fellows crossing flesh swords than real ones. Maybe it's the top down view that makes it look and feel so gay. Sorry Warrior lovers.

Nice Star Castle Fritz. If I end up getting that Star Castle in ND, who's my man for monitor repairs? Mark H? Arc? Tim Skelley? I'll need someone to look at it it sounds like from the description. Can I test the board on my Space Wars monitor?

I have successfully tested Space Wars boards in a Rip Off, I think these are all pretty much interchangeable. I am not sure you can play them though, since the control panels are all differnet.

You asked for it...

Mint in box.

Please don't hate me!!

Not sure... mine came working... I also have a spare working monitor and a parts monitor.

As most of you know I no longer have it but for posterity sake:

Feel free to cruise my photobucket for more. You can save and use them as you desire.

A much cooler version of the cinematronics game, imho.

No offense to Cinematronics Space Wars owners, but I concur... I love this cab.

Amazing job on the restoration, Chris. That looks fantastic.

Here's ours. Sorry for the bad pic, but I've got games crammed everywhere until the carpet is installed.... was on top of Zookeeper to get this!

Yeah, when that game was new it was broken every other day. :D

Here is a pic of the Cosmic Chasm that was at CAX 2010. The cab is very similar to Dragon's Lair, but has a few differences. A couple early Dragon's Lair prototype machines actually used this Cosmic Chasm style cabinet.

Enjoy.
