There are no details it disappeared before I stepped foot out the house.
...so it cost you nothing...
No time, no effort, no money... you just replied to a posting here, and got your panties in a bunch when a ridiculously low price didn't pan out. Wah.
Shit happens.
If you were so smart and following me which I see you like to do, then you should no that I didn't make this post after missing out on the star wars deal. If I recall I didn't say much about it at all other than I lost the deal and it disappeared.
.
all I want to know is how the F you pull off these trips without your wife killing you, esp since you have a kid!
Hello
I'm at work right now so I don't have time to read the entire post but I think it was inspired by me for the most part. I am the guy that sold dj dns the last game in question. I respect him for not mentioning my name but I have always been the type of person to own up to my mistakes so here it goes...(sorry, long posting)
I'm not perfect, I screw up from time to time like everybody and I really don't want to make anyone mad. I sold dj dns my Asteroids Deluxe mini for $75 and a 48 in 1 pcb (great price, I know). I agreed to ship it for him as well. When I asked my boss if I could grab a pallet/shrinkwrap from work, borrow the company truck to bring it home and maybe get a half day off from work for the pick up of the game in question. I don't know if he was having a bad day or what but he just laid into me about it, enough to make me feel depressed and wonder how I ended up in a place like this (he is also younger than me, which yes, makes it worse, not sure why but it does...) I know it's no excuse but after that I just didn't feel like dealing with it, all the joy I normally recieve from selling someone something cheap was just replaced with anger and hatred towards my boss. I know he just wanted me to beg him to use the pallet and truck and at this point it wasn't happening. What I did was complete bullshit, I have no other way to say it. I backed out of a deal and I feel horrible knowing it effected dj dns this bad. I saw that he had 50+ games and just assumed he was a dealer/reseller so it would be no big deal and it wouldn't bother him. I should have contacted him first, I really feel bad now guys... Like I said to him, I'm just a Dad that works way too much and occasionally collects arcade games. I'm not really a "seller" and I usually buy my games super cheap with patience and then sell them super cheap just because I love the reaction I get from people when they get a good deal. I know my AD mini was worth more than that but it didn't matter to me since I got it cheap (I did NOT sell it for more to the other guy by the way, if that matters) I let my temper get the better of me yesterday and took the easy way out, being a father thats something I'm working on changing but I was just having a bad day and because of it I really let dj dns down. I am really sorry man, skimming through some comments it seems I did something really really bad and I just feel horrible now. Anyone who knows me will know I let stuff like this bother me way too much and can almost become obssesive over it. I know it's just a game and just some anonomous internet forum but being a newer member I was kind of stating to feel the "friendship" of the community and this makes me feel like I blew it. dj dns and KLOV...I apologize for my behavior, sorry guys, hopefully we can still be friends...

You're the one posting negative things about fellow KLOVers, kiddo.
...and yes, you did make this post after missing out on SW, and I think it's quite unfair to bash a KLOVer for a deal that fell through when it was out of his control.
Try driving 600 miles and have people bail on deals, as I have in the past, and then you'll actually have something to complain about. "Losing out" on deals that never went past the emailing back and forth level is bush league.
My wife has asked me that a few times about Darryl and I have always wondered the same thing lol. I have four kids and barely have time to play let alone work on my games,or travel more than 2hrs to get a game. I go into work early just so I can leave early and have 2-3 hrs to myself game wise before the wife comes home because after that all my time is devoted to her until bed time, thats why I am still constantly getting games. Quality time with her equals more games for me.
I accept your apology and dont need you to feel down about anything. If I wanted that I would have mentioned your name. The price was a good price and I as you see I never tried to talk you down even thought you had a (or best offer). I just gave you what you wanted. I was actually wanting to get this game for another member on here thats helping me out with one of my games now. I not a retailer but I do resell or trade games I get to keep the hobby alive for me. The only problem was like all the others we agreed and I sent you the money so it should have been a done deal. Life goes on and so does the games. You dont have anything to worry about making any enemies on here 98% of us are positive people. I'm sure you wont make that mistake again. Thats all I wanted to do is make people aware including myself which some people have done with me in the past.
Enjoy like man and dont be so hard on yourself!
Man....I dont know, but if I were you after reading Crazy Climbers post, I sure would feel like an asshole. I know you guys had a deal, but sometimes shit happens, and its not always about someone offering the person more money, as is the case with Crazy Climber.
Btw Crazy Climber, your boss sounds like some of mine. Too young to be bosses, and they think they are gods and can get away with anything. One day they will get fired and reality will kick in.
To answer that question I have my own business and I make my own hours. I can pretty much pick up and go when I please unless I'm in the middle of doing a job. When my family Im always around and the times that I do travel for games or bulk deals I normally not gone for more than two days. I always plan ahead so everthing is taken care of before I leave. That MI bulk buy trip only took me a day and a half. You just need to no what your doing and be a little crazy. If I didn't do things like this how else would all my local / semi local get all there games. You can find all game titles in your backyard. Unfortuntaly they only seem to turn up in other states.
Ultimately I'd like to take a week off work, rent a truck and ride all over the east coast doing pick ups. The deals on games that I find in surrounding states and beyond is beyond comprehension.
... i dont know how you guys find anytime for arcades lol, especially if you have 4.
Seems like your hobby is upsetting you too much, you just need to roll with it. You're in this for fun right? Is this fun? Sit back, relax these are not irreplaceble holy relics so there will be other opportunities. As someone said before me you're under the misconception that these folks are your friends, they are actually friendly competitors. I've collected many different kinds of things over the past few decade and when it comes to buying collectable shit people behave lousy when something they want is up for grabs. I've had people snach shit off gunshow tables while I was reaching for my wallet that were my "friends". This behavior is not new nor unique to arcade crap. Simple answer is, make your own deals outside the comunity, don't talk about them, and don't be a cheap ass and you'll have fewer problems.

If that comment were from you, we'd call it going easy on him. You're right, it takes a big man to admit he made a mistake. Case closed.
