is an angle grinder.. Seriously, i had to cut a piece of plexi for the monitor, and 4 pieces for marquees (to sandwich the game-on grafix marquees).

after marking up the plexi to the sizes needed, it took me about 10 minutes to cut it all out. some areas may melt back together, but it just takes a little nip with the grinder to take care of that.

Score and snap or a table saw with a trim blade installed backwards seems to work pretty well.

I've always had good luck with a table saw. It makes nice clean straight cuts and because it is removing the material, no melt back that you have to clean up.

I've done table saw and plastic cutting knife (score and snap) and had both work wonderfully. I've cut a ton of plexi in my day and I can honestly say I've never had the need to try another way.

I just take it over to the plastics supply place I buy plexi from and they cut it for me...

i used to score and snap, but that takes too long. by the time i line up my straight edge, i could almost be done cutting with the angle grinder.

as for the table saw - i guess i could use it but during this time of year, my workshop is also santas workshop. And i was out in the garage working on the games.

Ditto. If I'm sandwiching a marquee, I usually go to Lowe's and ask the guy if they have any scraps to use so I don't have to buy a whole sheet. Once they're done cutting it to size, I ask how much? Every time so far they've said don't worry about it, it was scrap. Free plexi- yay!
