This game really sucks ass and i feel sorry for any of you that are wasting the space on it however, it makes a great test rig for sanyo rebuilds. Nothing fancy but it produces a pic and sound.

Boy this is a slap in the face of anyone that likes this game or anyone that is very good at this game.

You saying sorry does'nt help matters. Why do you dislike DK3 So much?

I discovered DK3 on the 60-1. Never played it before then, and I have a blast with it. I'd definitely get a dedicated cab if it came up in my area at a low price.

I've had a few of these conversion cabs over the years and never liked it enough to restore and place it next to my dk and dk jr. games which are now sold. After years of using my own machines as test rigs after monitor rebuilds, i got tired of hauling monitors downstairs and needed a garage rig option especially now that i have almost 20 sanyos to rebuild. This was just another crappy operator conversion, there's really no loss and actually the cabinet was sold to a guy that's returning it to an original DK

Don't take it personally man. Just because someone dislikes a game doesn't belittle anyone's accomplishment on it. I hate Pac-Man, but still recognize that a perfect game is an awesome achievement.

TY kalevan.

Yes the game gets really tough.. That was the first game i ever got the millon points.

I did it again this after noon.

I love this game i really don'nt get the dislike for this game.

If anyone does'nt have me on there youtube channels please add me ...

I have many videos like these on my channel.
Whoa! That last level was crazy fast! I'm impressed!

I think most people hate on it because it's not a DK style game. You gotta think of it as a Galaga type shooter that just happens to include DK in it. I really like the game, although it starts to really get frustrating about 20-25 levels in.

I bought it for the NES, back when that original 1st wave of games was most of what was available. I didn't care for it much then, probably wouldn't now.

Never liked DK3.
After DK and then DKjr my expectations for the game titled "Donkey Kong 3" were very high, this game wasn't even in the same genre, I'm sure others feel the same.
Had they gave it a different name I might have given it a fair shake, now it's just the bastard child of DK, and DKjr to me.

It's a fun game. A lot more fun than many of the "Look at Me" games a lot of you folks collect. Journey, Timber, Dragon's Lair, - I could go on. It's not the greatest game ever conceived but it certainly isn't the worst. I dedicated a cab to the game permanently, and that helps to add some class to an otherwise shunned kit game.

I agree... both with the fact that it's a fun game and with the fact that Chris really likes nice looking shitty games...

;)

I'd love to have a DK3 or at least a board to put in my Donkey Kon Jr. I never played it back in the day, but I played it on MAME. Pretty fun game. The kids like to too.

DK3 is a pretty fun game. DK3 owners unite.
Don't mind the crappy cell pic.

Couldn't agree more. I think having a wifey and kiddos that all play our games helps me stay away from the obscure "collectible" games that only collectors like to have. ;) Maybe if I had an entire barn or full basement to dedicate to arcade games I'd justify a small "museum" area but even then I doubt it(imho, too much money to spend to just look at them).

DK3 gets played by my son, daughter, wife, son's friends, and daughter's friends. It is one of my son's friends absolute favorite games too. He plays the snot out of it and can break 100k with ease. My son has his days where he'll play it alot and can break 300k.

To each his own... :beerchug:
