Well, much to my dismay, I have completed my Atari Row. I was really hoping to fill the last open slot with a Star Wars, but it seems that no one in my area has one for a REASONABLE price (650-850) even WITHOUT a monitor. I shoulda bought KillerKades before I left WI - but no money at that time.
Anyhow, back to the topic.....
So I found this on the semi-local CL as a no picture ad. I emailed and he said he didnt have the capability to post pics, so I agreed to drive the 1.5 hrs to go "look" at it. Below is what I found - listed for $225.00

After doing the usual dealing, I rolled it out for $150. Best part is - it was fully working and is running a PP2 boardset!! So a working PP2 for $150 in a real clean - no water damage cab. I think it was worth the 3 hr drive!
The only thing it needs it a recap - its a 4900 yay!, a cardboard bezel repair - drooping, and eventually a new cpo .
This wasnt my first but of 2010, but my best - so far! My first was a SI deluxe for $50 that needs a boardset. But that's another thread!

Nice score pb..
Thanks!!!
Im just happy the damn pics are showing up now!!
I was surprised (being sight unseen) that this cab was in nice shape as it is. I figured the typical swollen bottom Atari cab, damaged sideart, etc. Im shocked theres essentially no burn on it. counter is showing about 28k plays.
Its no Star wars, but im happy with the purchase.
