The As Found Arcade Sale Happening Now (Darren Collection)

Whats wrong with the market?! I thought we were #winning?!?

We really should start a nice conversion thread. I feel like that is going to be a lost art eventually. So many destroyed cabinets over the years, and peple restoring games back to their original states. All those kit games don't have a home.
I've been saying this for years.

That Bomb Jack conversion was one the nicest conversions I've ever seen.
Honestly a solid choice of cab to convert too.
Totally agree on this game. I was actually at Daren's a couple of times and played this game. I loved how they made it look dedicated. I told Daren a few times if he ever got bored with it, that I would love to buy it from him. (He would let stuff go, he didn't keep everything)
Sorry to hear about his passing. He was a very nice, and gracious person. His house was just amazing. Even more than what you're seeing in the pics and video.

for a year or so, policies made by previous administration can be felt good or bad depending on your situation. I learn to ride the waves.
I scooped up some smokin hot deals during the obama years.
Just a little something to think about…

I was telling some teenagers that arcades were exactly as you see in the movie 'Joysticks'.

Lots of nudity, game battles, Joe Don Baker, etc.
Oh the small town variants of Joe Don Baker...better in Joysticks mode than Buford Pusser mode

Thank you for sharing… was Daren a member here? If so do you know what his handle was?

I believe the Bomb Jack was made by @Griffin some years back.

The cabinet is a Suzuki Enterprise cabinet, These were domestically made clones of the Deco (I believe Hoei also used the same design).

Ahhh I wondered where that ended up. Yeah that quirky little cab seemed like a good fit for the theme of the game.

I'm planning on making another Bomb Jack in a Moppet cab that I have access to. Too many projects.

I've been wanting to do a Bomb Jack in some cabinet along the same lines, as I did with Hole Land. But For Bomb Jack, I'd like to find a NOS kit if I could. That would be a total challenge though.

The art I created used a NOS kit owned by......... yep Fizgig, it was the only bezel I have ever seen.

At least the bezel looks faithful to the conversion kit artwork, and he didn't try to grow a brain and Nibbler out on it.

The house is amazing. Really cool to see a space like it filled with games. Stayed off Facebook to avoid buying any thing. :p

Oh cool! Thank you for the tip. I am not aware of his work. Love learning about other arcade obsessed people. Hopefully he has some available.
Dave liquidated his inventory years ago. The people that have them usually keep them.
