i was looking at a stern playboy on c/l today. i noticed that like most recent sterns that all the graphics were just photos. i remember playing the bally playboy in the arcade as a kid. i have never seen the data east playboy so i looked it up on ipdb.it had some nice artwork on the pf.my point, not sure i have one other than what has been discussed many times before. i miss pins with good artwork. sorry for the rant, its been a crazy week. merry Christmas to all.

With STERN only making licensed themes, the cool pinball artwork of days past are gone. I love the gameplay of new DMD pins but the 70s and 80s pins grab the attention in my gameroom. Nothing better than cool backglass like silverball mania, seawitch, ect.

The older pins have some fantastic art!! I love the Lost World and Gorgar in my collection for the artwork on the pins. Back glass, play field and the cabinet. Wow! No 'movie poster' style translites stuck behind the glass.
