The Ark of the Covenant has been found

It's basically a Discs of Tron cocktail.

Without the pseudo 3D, I mean.

One of my local arcade buddies just scored one at an auction in Wyoming a couple of weeks ago. Insanity right now with that game.

Yeah, I Think the Atari 2600 is kind of making a comeback in Retro circles and I think Warlords was voted as Top Multiplayer game for the 2600.
I Would love to have the Arcade 4 player Cocktail.

So that's where it ended up, I bid on it but went way above my bid, didn't figure many people would see it. A couple of weeks before I got a fully working Cosmic Avenger for $83 on that auction, I got the Missile Command cabaret that was with the Warlords auction. They had a Donkey Kong cocktail that I passed on. Had a feeling the Warlords would show up here.

Wow! That looks like a very nice specimen of a Missile Command cabaret! Yeah, my pal told me about the Wyoming auction, and he was really hoping to get it. Luckily, he got it. Then mine popped up, in Seattle, WA and I figured this would be my last go at getting one. So many of these are bolted to collector's floors now, sometimes, you just gotta go for it…especially when the deal is right.

I hope your face melts from the radioactive joy emanating from the monitor.

I'm not jealous at all. Maybe a little. Probably more than a little.

We're gettin' there! The control panel overlays are installed. The wet method is definitely the way to install them. I ruined one using the dry method, and had to buy a replacement. All good though now…they look amazing! Went with silver aluminum cones and will also install new spinner hats once they arrive.

All of the metal parts have been powder coated. New plastic end plugs and levelers for metal legs/supports have been installed. New glass and powder coated frame. New keys/locks/keychains. New T-molding. Some bondo work, paint, and black vinyl replacement on the upper deck is finished. The monitor is washed and rebuilt…just need to install it. Waiting on the game board to come back and we'll be all wrapped up. I can't wait to play this one!

Thanks,

I made exactly the same mistake trying to apply one of those CPOs dry. I've NEVER messed up a CPO but that one burned me. Fortunately I had 4

Wasn't that the worst experience ever? My first one miraculously went on fine using the dry method, but the second one went tits up immediately. Creases, bubbles, and a tear…just horrible. Ordered another one, and it shipped with major creases, so there was absolutely no way that was going on dry.

My son and I just peeled the entire thing off of the paper, sprayed it and the CP down with soapy water and went after it. Luckily, it went on smoothly.

Yeah, those were a bear to install. One other thing that I did was install little round felt discs on the screw heads on the underside of the glass frame because when the lid is closed, those screw heads will make contact with the CPOs and probably damage them over time.

They are unusually thin for CPOs.

@Takeman reproduced them a while back.
Maybe he still has some.
He does not. That's why I got fed up and made own.
Been doing that with a lot of metal parts instead of waiting for someone to reproduce or for someone else's game to die and donate parts.
Taito back door locks are next on my list of non available, everyone grabs when they are, piss me off for having to search for, parts.
