The $50 Stunt Cycle - Picked up today

on the switch itself on the coin mech, (the one at the bottom of the mech with the little paper clip thickness switch coming off, there should be two wires attached. each should be soldered on to a terminal. take a spare piece of wire with the ends stripped and one end to each terminal (to ground it out) and see if that does it...

the switch will look like this -

Duh. It says to make sure throttle is backed all the way off after play. I backed it off, clicked the coin switch and walla - player button lit up. Now I am playing me some Stunt Cycle. Goes to show - check the obvious first.

For Christmas one year, my sister bought me the home version of this game. I'm thinking it was maybe 1978 or 1979?? I would go back and fourth between that game and our pong console. I don't know that I have ever seen a Stunt Cycle cab but would definately grab one at that price.

P.S. Love the RetroGaming Roundup shows. I look forward to every show and check the website daily around the middle of each month hoping to find the new show. Keep it up!

i have a stunt cycle that will coin up but won't start! start buttons will light for 1 and also for 2 player when coined twice! any ideas?

yes, already took off connectors and physically touched to make a connection but still no start!

Anyone know who programmed the Stunt Cycle Arcade. It seems there are three signiatures in black sharpie on the serial board? Or if anyone else has one do you have the same signatures. It's the board right when you open the back that the connector is on - lower right hand corner. Sorry bad terminology here :)

Stunt Cycle was the first arcade game I ever got hooked on. Must have been around 77 or 78... it was at a putt-putt golf place in Clear Lake, CA where my grandparents lived. I loved that game.

Congrats, that thing looks really nice and a geat price too. I wish I could find one. It is one of the three that I really really want to get. The other two being Drag Race and Cops 'n Robbers.
