According to the current VAPS statistics, these are the top 50 dedicated games sitting in collectors gamerooms. Conversions and Board Only numbers are not factored in.

If you feel like comparing and contrasting to a similar list I made in March of '09, here it is. Looks like several hundred great classics have found good homes in the past year.

i have thirteen of that list.. and owned 25 of them total so far.

i've owned 12 of them.... Still have 11 of them. Who knew Baby pac would make the top 50. I thought those were fairly uncommon. Shows how much i know about rarity.

I have 10 of them and have owned maybe another 5 in the past.
The list is not surprising, notice how most of these games were produced in large numbers. Mspac probably is not the MOST popular game, there's just a ton of them out there.

I noticed that neo geo went from 20th in 09 to off the list in 10 how'd that happen?

I have 21 of the top 50 in my collection for dedicated.

Now, what if some are counting these games in VAPS (I understand that these numbers are not for boards or conversions) for the multi pcb's (not everyone understands how VAPS is supposed to be)....in that case, I have 42!

I own 4 from the list; down from 11. The biggest surprise to me is how few I want to add from the list. O f the 7 I have sold, only Spy Hunter may be bought again someday. I think the one I want the most is probably Centipede right now. Very strange how opinions change after owning a few of these.

Well... NeoGeo's pretty much... well... suck.

:D

EDIT: Naw... according to this list: http://www.arcade-museum.com/members/statistics/most-collected-videogames.php Neo-Geo MVS is #6... but that includes conversions and boards only. It would be 19th place for DEDICATED only... not sure why it was missed (212 dedicated).

I wrote down the numbers on a piece of paper, then typed them into an Excel spreadsheet. I guess I just missed it.

All games under Q*bert, please take one step backward. Welcome back, Neo Geo. Star Castle, go home.
