Thanks! Hmm.. I'm toying with the idea of going. I keep getting a buzzer though when I hear "gas $3.00"
We'll see.
Pm me your phone number and I can call you with a list of whats there. I'll be there friday at opening and Saturday at opening if there is anything worth going back for.
I'll be happy to shoot over my number, but to be honest I was just wanting to go for the sake of seeing one in action. I'm not by any means in a position to buy another game right now, just wanted to see what all shows up and how it rolls. I don't get out much these days so anything that has arcade games on site is always of interest to me anymore!
I do thank you for the offer to be the sohchx scout though!![]()
Hey i could maybe send my pacman project down with someone local if someone is interested in getting it. I was selling it for $75.00 i live about 2 and a half hours away, but i'm less than 45 minutes from sohchx, and he would maybe take it down for a fee (not sure just throwing this out there)
here;s the thread on it for sale>

Question for anybody who was at the auction earlier this year... did they have a lot of touch screen games, and what were the prices going for them. Outrageous or reasonable?
This auction was a let down in MD. One major reason - shill bidding. I was outbid by the people trying to sell their stuff at least five times. There were not many classics, and there was a glut of half-hearted refurbish jobs of generic cabinets with cheap multi-boards. I am not sure if or why the auction company allows shill bidding, but it is really discouraging for buyers. I almost think they are in on it...
The length of an auction is determined by the amount of equipment up for sale. I've been to auctions that were wrapped up by noon and some that went until 1 or 2 in the morning. No way to tell until the morning of the auction.
