Why cant this be on the West Coast :(
GLWTS!
HaHa, I usually say that when games do show-up on the coast!

Have it shipped. Compared to how hard these cabinets are to find, it may be worth the shipping cost.

Thayer's quest was a conversion kit for Dragon's Lair.
I don't think there were ever any dedicated TQ cabinets.

It looks like someone modified the back panels to seal off the upper area and remove the laserdisc drawer.
Still, a great project cabinet.

so funny you say that because that is exactly what I thought so I figured I could put it back to a dragon lair but the bottom hasn't been modified. There was never a drawer in there. So question for you did any TQ cabinets have a drawer? I immediately just assumed this was a TQ cabinet because of the control panel when I removed the other overlay that was on it and found it to obviously to be a TQ control panel. They cut the bottom marquee bump out straight which they make repros for and they left the metal bump out original brackets on the game which was nice. Sides have laminate on them that I was tempted to pull of because all the other games we pulled out of this warehouse have had the original side art under the laminate. When I figured it was a TQ I figured its just black side art so I didn't bother as I am not interested in doing a TQ restore and I have projects stacked up as it is. I ll try and post some more photos of the back but it doesn't look tampered with, it looks original or they did an amazing job.

I really just want someone who will take this and restore it to what it was and not multicade the cabinet so if you are that person I will entertain offers. Its obviously not about 300.00 bucks or I would just dump it locally for less.

Yea, I asked but no bueno on Fastenal, and shipping via Navi right now is too much $$.

I was going to convert it back to DL, and then also redo the TQ CP so I could swap it in and play it as well.

What about Bob Cunningham? He's suppose to be coming through KC in the next few weeks.
