I'm far from an expert on monitor adjustment, just let me say that first. Isn't there another way purity can be adjusted, something to do with the position of the yoke on the tube? I have a tube swapped monitor with a corner problem like this that has never cleared up with degaussing manually or automatically, and it's been years. Every other monitor I have has no problem like this, so I eventually concluded it was a different problem than degaussing. I'd like to fix it if it's possible.I tried the purity ring. No change.
Either way, after your convergence work, yours looks better than most of mine that haven't even been tube swapped! Hopefully that corner clears up after a while with the auto degauss, and that's that.
