I've always admired his restos, great attention to detail and he always posts lots of good clear pics of them. Well, buddy, you have inspired me to stencil my two williams cabs, and hopefully they look half as good as the Joust pics you posted. The big thanks is for listing the type and color of spray paint you used, it made it alot easier for me to find them. The apple red looks like it will work on the Robotron as well, so there's a couple bucks saved! I also found a blue in the same paint line that perfectly matches the blue on my repro cpo and marquee!

Awesome. They look like very close color matches. Joust is fun one to stencil (now that the stencil layers are separated). Just make sure to spray light coats and remove the stencil as soon as you finish spraying the last coat.

Maybe this has been addressed, but if you have a relatively simple cab, like a early Williams, c could you achieve good results by masking over the side, and simply re-spraying a color that's deficient?

Like my Robotron...the colors are pretty solid, but the background silver is kinda lacking. Seems like I could mask off the side, carefully cut out the color sections and just spray the background, instead of re-doing the whole cab.
