First I would like to give a BIG thanks to all of you that stopped by
to see me at Expo. This was by far my best experience at ANY show. I
had a blast meeting everyone and getting to put faces with names from
the list. I would like to apologize to those that bought pop on
Thursday, it was not as ICE cold as I would have liked. I was trying a
new method using the Fridge, and it is one of those things that looks
good on paper, but when put in action, does not work like planned.
Mike P. was very generous in helping me put the ICE back in "ICE
COLD". I would also like to thank Mike and Rob for putting on another
great Expo. I did get a chance to play a few games I have never seen,
call me weird, but I loved JollyPark by Spinball, also was thrilled at
the chance to play Evil Dead(have all 3 on DVD).
I heard there was a KLOV get together Friday, but unfortunately I had to miss it to run my booth. I would have liked to seen and had a few drinks with everyone, anyway, I will try for next year.
I had a few people pre-order cases of pop, so next year I'll post a
list so others can also have a chance to order in quantity(as with
anything in life, the more you buy, the better the price) . I will
also be asking for your favorites, so I'll know what to stock up on.
As always I welcome your advise, ideas, comments(good or bad!)
Thanks to all
Aaron

Thanks again. It was a pleasure meeting you. Although, I think that i spent more money than anyone else on you this year. And chances are, that i will next year as well. Make sure that you read a bunch of the expo threads on RGP. I read 3 seperate threads that all mentioned that you are a "must have" at expo.

Im glad that you didnt have a full list when we talked, because i know that i would have grabbed several more cases. I would have loved a cherry crush case. And next year i want a few cases of the forbidden pop (you know which one im talking about)

Thanks again
Troy

Thanks Troy,
You are, hands down the biggest buyer! And I am the most envious of your new game-Avitar
Hope your having a great time with with your new game while enjoying a cold pop. We are already looking at new flavors for next year, and trying to line up acquisition of hard to get "forbidden" classics. We are also working on possibly going to Midwest Gaming Classic at Milwaukee in March.
Happy Gaming

Im actually sitting here drinking a strawberry crush. next is another dr pepper. Im not sure if ill make it to MGC, but if i dont, ill send someone up to grab 15-20 cases for me. The kids are loving Avatar (Dad does too). The pictures you see online dont do it any justice, you have to see the backglass in person to really apreciatte the art in it.

I will never get enough money out of my Avatar for what i have in it personally. Although I did get a great deal on the game and have less in it than what the dealer price is. (i traded my Shrek Pin and cash for the Avatar and i was in the Shrek pin jus tright) But there is a story that goes with the Avatar that makes it priceless to me.

I have been going to expo for many years. I think that i have went to 8 of them so far in the past 10 years. I have always wanted to go on the Stern Tour, but with it being in the middle of the week, i have never been able to go. This year, the wife took a few vacation days so that she could be home with the kids so that i could go for the extra few days. I have also wanted to buy another NIB pin, i bought one before, but for myself, and not my kids (stern Playboy) But this time, i wanted to get one that the kids would enjoy and to share the opening of a NIB. Avatar was a great theme choice for a game for the kids. Then lastly, i was on the tour at Stern on october 20, 2010. The date of manufacture on the back of my machine is October 20, 2010. That was just icing on the cake.

Here is a quick pic.

Troy,
Very nice collection! That's a great story, being on the tour when YOUR game was being finished up on the assembly line. I'll defiantly keep you and everyone else posted on where I'll pop up next.

Thanks for the soda. Maybe next year I will buy a case myself. :)

Troy, nice to see you set-up the new pin already. :D

Thanks for the great pop! I think I downed 4 bottles over the weekend. Sorry I didn't introduce myself. I only realized later you're a KLOVer.
