Well I got my Secret Santa gift today, and I decided to tear into it rather than waiting. I was expecting a nice arcade related gift, but what I got was a box full of tools and parts that I completely needed! I listed DK Jr. parts in my Wishlist, and my Secret Santa was awesome enough to get me a Bob Roberts Audio Board Repair Kit for my 20 EZ. I really needed one of these as it was clear my board was dieing. I had tried a drop in replacement solution which failed, and this is exactly what I needed. So I got some parts to work on my one and only game with, and an awesome set of tools to add to my workbench.

-A Medium Storage Container for all the small bolts and screws and other junk I always lazily leave lying around.

-A Magnetic parts tray. This thing is just AWESOME. It's actaully quite big and I don't know why I never thought of getting one of these. It's great for dropping screws in for stuff I'm working on and will need later, and I dont need to worry about losing them.

-A set of Heat Shrink tubing which I have been meaning to get more of and now I have a ton in all kinds of different sizes.

-Removeable Thread Lock for making sure screws are in place securely

-A telescopic mirror and a telescopic magnetic pickup tool. These are always handy.

-Bob Roberts Cap Kit.

Heh, I bet Moddessit would have gotten me shrink tubing after he saw my ghetto job on that K7000 chassis. I used liquid tape to seal up two butt joints. :D

Hahaha, I wouldn't survive if I didn't have one of those telescoping magnetic pickup tools. I drop so many things (screws, bolts, washers, etc) down into the depths of a cab that I would have to pull the cab away from the wall to fish it out if I didn't have that. Mine has a little LED light on the end also... I love it. Keep it close to you whenever you are working on your game(s). :)

yeah. i used the heck out of mine shopping my pin, specifically when cleaning score reels and stepper motors. kept dropping bolts and nuts into the body through the hole. came in quite handy.

I am going to jump into this thread and thank my SS as well. When I got home today there was a mysterious box on my doorstep. I had my wife open it, since I didn't recognize it and she doesn't understand how Amazon's one click system works Yes, she bought some of my presents through Amazon using the one click system accidently sending me confirmation emails as well as charging my "arcade" account as well .

Anyway, this box contained a really nice LED headlamp - this is most likely the single most useful tool I didn't already have. Thanks a ton Secret Santa, this will not only benefit me but guys in North Carolina, Virginia, and Washington as well!

BTW, there was no name on the package, this is how my packages have always gone out as well. But, I am a curious guy by nature and my SS left me one very small clue...:)

Mine left some evidence behind too (acidentlly), but To honor the secret, I'm not going to look the klov name to match the real name. Evidence was a printout of an email about info on a PCB :) Don't worry SS, you will remain unknown to me.
