If you had picked this up by now I would never have noticed it had quarters in it! :) I only noticed because it made a sound when I went to move it inside to protect it from rain in the morning. Don't know how many quarters were in there yet....my kids are counting them now and all excited because they get to keep the goods!

That wasn't why I didn't respond.....I'll get right on that, sorry! I've found close to the same amount of money once in a game that someone gave to me for free. I felt guilty about keeping it though so I returned the money to him which shocked the heck out of him. But this is different....I paid for the storage unit and took a chance and it happened to have cash in it. So I'm not returning it this time!

Why did you stack the quarters and feel the need to leave others scattered? Just wondering?

At first we were shaking quarters out of a little hole in the top of the unit because the coin-door was locked and I don't have a key. So that's where they landed. Some of them rolled around to other places. After it became clear that there were a lot more still inside I drilled the lock and we scooped them out. The picture was taken before they were all removed.

I'm sure he'll just be happy it's lighter now.

He really owes you a thank you! :)
