Hello all,
When I was picking up my Tales from the Crypt the gentleman I bought it from it was mentioned that it was dirty, thus needed to be cleaned. As such I have spent quite a bit of time attending to this. I must say that TFTC is a tough machine to work on due to placement of items! My goodness!
However, while cleaning and replacing/fixing a number of issues I decided to put some LEDs into the game. I elected to put almost no LEDs onto the playfield as I thought the incandescent bulbs fitted the darker horror them well (I only placed two orange LEDs in the far back which I think looks great and very Halloween like). Yet I put quite a few LEDs under the playfield which I thought looked incredible. I especially liked how the green worked with the CRYPT lights. In case you are wondering, though, the R in CRYPT looks a little off due to the design of where the bulb goes and not the LED.
Enjoy!
