Texas Pinball Festival March 25-27

I have been really tired for the last couple of weeks and finally made the decision that I was going to make the drive tomorrow anyway. I don't know what time I'll get in, it depends on when I get my lazy ass out of bed + 4.5 hours (4 hours driving and .5 hours for showering so as not to offend (see CAX BO threads....;))).

I'll be there with my two kids. Wife staying home!!.......Maybe bad idea.......may wind up with another game or two or more. lol

Wow that sure was a great festival. I got to meet so many nice people. I did not realize how much work it was keeping the games working on site. My games get such light use here at my home compared to the 3 days of constant enjoyment they get at the festival. It seemed like every time I showed back up there was something new to do to my machines. If anything was going to go wrong with the games it was going to be out there.

It surprised me with how many titles there are in pinball. It is just not possible to put them all in one place. there were 2 Xenon games out there but none last year. This year we had no Black Holes but last year there were a couple. Some odd games were there I played an Indiana Jones video game that I don't think I have seen in a working cabinet in 25 years. I saw that great Star Trek collection with all those signatures on them. I had a Sheldon Cooper moment when I started staring at all the signatures.

Thanks to everyone who made it out.
What a great weekend.

It was a blast on Saturday when I was there. :)

I think I'll set up a booth next year and sell a bunch of IC chips. I can bring all the old stuff that's used on pinball games.
