Testing Major Havoc in a Tempest

Finally getting around to testing a Major Havoc board. It is just the board, has no conversion board. Can the Tempest wiring harness be connected directly to the MH board just to test the board. Not really interested at this time if the controls function, just to see if the game comes up.

From the looks of it, the large edge connector is a straight move from the tempest to the MH. The small edge connector will need to be flipped for the key to be in the proper place.

Is directly connecting to the Tempest harness advisable? Or does it need the conversion board?

No.

It needs the conversion board... (and you'll need to flip the smaller connector over to use the adapter board... stupid atari :) )
