Testing Atari Power Bricks, still seems to be a problem for people. I made this video to help those who are having trouble testing an Atari Power Brick.

All Atari Power Bricks will test the same way for power going to the Audio Regulator. (A/R I or A/R II) These tests are conducted on J5 pins 1 through 9. It is the same for Color Raster games, B/W Vector games, and Color Vector games. The only differences will be in the monitor voltages on J5 pins 10 through 15. Refer to your individual game scat for testing the monitor voltages.

Hope this clears things up for anyone needing assistance test an Atari Power Brick.

I really need to figure out what happened to that cable you sent me a while back (with the really short wire for connecting that one connector ;)). Haven't seen it since I moved over a year ago. No idea what box it got put into...

I send you tools for your trade and you lose them? Doh!

Great video! You helped me out with my Dig Dug last year. I think what gets a lot of folks thrown off is the pin numbering. This will be EXTREMELY helpful to those and should be stickied somewhere.

Great job on the video Dokert. This is one I will use as I have an Atari Power Brick I need to test for a Red Baron project.
I just love a good help video :D

I have a Missile Command with power issues, so I will check this out tonight. Thanks for putting up the video.

Thanks for the video! Just picked up an Asteroids and Tempest recently and will be diving into fixing those two games eventually.
