I remember thinking "this is like a slow version of trojan..."

It's way, way different though. You have to aim at different parts of the body to get rid of armor, and then hit flesh. Also, if you're patient, you can break the enemy's weapon.

There's a bonus for carefully taking off all of the chick's armored plates as well before you strike her down.
