Test B&W raster monitor chassis without tube? Slight horizontal video bleed.

I've not tried this before but. Let's say I have an M7000 motorola B&W monitor in my Space Invaders. The Tube and the chassis are mounted separately. I can easily remove the wires from between the two and pull out the chassis leaving the tube/yoke, etc. in the game and put the chassis on my bench I want to scope the video amp path to try to find where the video signal starts get a small horizontal bleed. I've already replaced the bigger caps on the video amp section. When monitor first starts up, is cold, display looks good, but gradually I get a horizontal bleed. I've tried some freezespray to try to isolate a section of the board or component and no help.
Any ideas? What is the likely cuplrit?
Thanks
Dale

Pictures? Could be a Tube issue too.

Stick the anode cup in a glass jar, and tell your family not to sue me when you die.
