Terminator salvation

I don't know why anyone would want to buy the game at that price when distributors everywhere are selling the game for about $1000 less brand new. It just came out a couple of weeks ago.

As far as earnings go - this game is making bank everywhere. A lot of different places are saying they have been making between $800-$1000 a week on the game, at least from what I have been told. Not sure how long it will stay like that but it so far is a very strong earning game. One place in Japan it made almost $1400 in one week which is impressive for an American-made game.

The game itself is pretty fun, I have played it all the way through at Amusement Expo and it gives you pretty much everything you would want out a Terminator light-gun game. It certainly helps that one of the people behind it's development was George Petro, who also worked on Terminator 2 The Arcade Game.

Graphically it's also pretty good, it has plenty of flashy stuff to keep people interested and the gun clip reloading feature is cool too.

Here are a couple of videos I have shot of the game in action:

The movie did suck but the game is sick! Expensive of course, as all new games are, but really really cool!

I doubt very many of them are out on route just yet. They had some on test routes but I don't think very many Operators have dropped the cash yet to pick one up.

Re:

It's really weird seeing modern arcade games with flat panel monitors. Hell, I didn't even think people were still producing new arcade games. It still looks really cool from the game-play videos, thanks for posting.

They are out on route, you just need to find them. Its a sweet game, but really eats your $$$$ since it is set for a $1 a play and a $1 to continue.

game looks pretty good, man that movie was terrible, i cant believe i saw it instead of star trek at the time, polar opposites

My local putt putt has it. I played it the other day. $1 per play. Very nice set up, and I was digging the reload clip, just hard to break the habit of shooting offscreen to do so.
Very fun, just too expensive.

There are still several different companies producing new arcade games, with about 25-30 new games coming out a year. Terminator is being published by Eugene Jarvis' company, Raw Thrills who also did H2Overdrive(which was done by the same team who did Hydro Thunder) and Guitar Hero Arcade last year.

You also have Sega, Namco, GlobalVR, Incredible Technologies and a few different Taiwanese companies producing games still so the arcade industry is still alive in some form. :)

Found one.... The Cinemark in Hanover, MD has one. I only got to play one round after seeing IRON Man 2 but I plan on going back to beat it one of these days. Only one I've found in this area so far....

They're putting H2Overdrive onto the xbox, which is going to probably be my only way to get hands on it since I doubt any place local to me will have units. Can't wait to play it, I have a lot of fond memories of Hydro Thunder and the gameplay I've seen of it so far looks like they did it right.

First time I tried to see it the sound in the theater was so screwed up I wound up with major vertigo, walked out and almost ran my car off the road driving home. I did wind up catching it all the way through in a theater that wasn't terrible and was entertained enough for the mindless summer blow shxt up type movie.

This thing is sick! i saw it the other day at my local mall in WV, Looks awesome, maybe 10 years down the road i can afford one lol.

I actually loved it. I think it was better than the 3rd, and for a fourth installment, they did an awesome job wrapping alot of minute details, including how John Connor got the scar on his face that you see in T2..

It also had my Jeep Wrangler X 4 door in it, being driven by John Connor himself.

For those who thought it sucked, you people have no vision. LOL.
