I have problem with the calibration with the one gun of arcade Terminator Salvation. It's not calibrating even in the calibration menu. The dot is not stable. After calibration the dot is laging-the reaction is later than the movement of the gun.The other gun is OK.

The things that I do:
1.Reisntall the software.
2.Change the camera with this from the gun that work, but with no effect
3.Clean the glass front of the camera

I'm don't know now what else to look.If you give me some schematic or some ideas what can cause this problem.

Gun Calibration

Have you tried swapping the 2 guns connectors inside the cabinet? If the problem follows the Gun then recheck your wirring. Sounds like a loose ground or a unstable voltage that feeds the gun.Make sure you have the 5 volts at the gun. I do not remeber if there is 12volts present for the feed back (knocker circuit)

Also look for cold solder joints were the connector plugs into the gun. Clean and reflow the solder on the board anyway. The guns take alot of abuse and things tend to loosen up.

If the problem moves over to Gun one when it is plugged into Gun twos connector then reseat the connector for the gun on the main board and recheck your power supply voltages. I set the the 5 volt line for 5.2 at the board.

Which cabinet do you have? Are your guns mounted to control panel like aliens ext.? If so, I would certainly check the solder at your pots, those fail a lot

Which version of the game do you have? They have made several gun adjustments in software updates since release. I updated to the latest version and the gun tracking has improved over where it was. The latest version should be 1.21. The update even fixed some of the cabinet lighting which was a surprise.
