It's been a while, despite putting this gutted machine completely back together I've still been unable to get any of the 2 brand new sets of 5k high quality potentiometers working so at least I know its not the pots. (PLEASE SEE VIDEO) showing what I'm experiencing.
My wiring is as such the input wire is attached to the middle pin on the potentiometers with power and ground on either side of that and interchanged just to see if it helped which it didn't. I've tried only hooking one player at a time, both players same time, and only one axis Y/X at a time to no avail. Always the same interference-like unstable flickering of the 0-255 position which is predominately holds at "home". Wired, partially wired or not wired at all - always the same thing no difference at all.
Basically, I need someone if at all possible to look at their pot wiring for their T2 machine and show me some pictures or something I feel thats the last resort.
POSSIBLY, explain why I'm not able to calibrate the guns, the target cursor does not move. PERHAPS some testing solutions. As you can see in the video its very unstable moving from 0-255 sporadically without doing anything on the axis but tends to clear out at the most extreme values. At first I thought maybe its a grounding issue but everything else works just fine control operation, the screen and the sound no notice of a grounding issue. The instability of the axis is the same whether the pots are attached or not.
