Im almost ready to pull the trigger on this one just want to be sure I dont spend to much.

Don't you already have one of these? Or was that Op Wolf?

Price: $250 for a decent cab. $300 if it's in really good shape.

These bastards are heavy, so that's why they go cheaper.

For the pinball Brad ;-p I do have the upright though this is going next to that.

Here are my options

1300 has some wear and reset issue

1800 near mint no issues

Well, you know me...I like to fix stuff that I buy cheap, so I'd offer a half-eaten sandwich for the broken one and try to fix it. And then I'd get really pissed off when I couldn't fix it.

So, that being said, I'd see if you can whittle down the 2nd option to $1500. Then you'll be sitting pretty.

I think I paid $500 for mine. It was on location in a pizza place and had been there for a very long time. The playfield had held up very well and there was no wear. It was a lot of work to clean off all the pizza grease that had accumulated over time. I put in the lit up hunter killer mod, fixed the skull lights, new translite, replaced broken plastics, new rubber, some bad light sockets, and replaced the DMD and found a better used plastic cover for the DMD and speakers. Even with these expenses the total cost was pretty cheap. The most ghastly expensive stuff were the playfield plastics that had to be replaced...I bought them from that guy in Austrailia...could not find them anywhere else. There are a number of parts for this machine that are not easy to find - certain plastics, side art; etc. Must be due to licensing issues.

The game is not very deep but it is fun to play. The music is really cheesy. Honestly this is not a $2k game.

Personal fave of mine 1300 one it is I dont plan on reselling and kind of like working on games however I dont like nightmare projects.

I bought a nice T2 (early production sample game) with a non-faded cabinet for $1100 recently in the Chicagoland area. Should have kept it for myself but sold it to a friend for $1100. I need to stop selling games to friends for what I paid.

I would consider the $1300 game, but it depends on wether your looking for a project or not. I'd look closely at how extensive the wear is. Major issues like heavily worn art or damage to expensive/irreparable items might make it overpriced at $1300. Wear + reset issues make it sound like a 'working project game' to me. Certain parts for T2 seem to be unobtainable (I'm assuming due to the licensing for repro plastics, decals etc).

I paid $1050 for a T2 about 2 years ago in west Michigan. I thought that was a pretty fair price at the time for nearly 100% working project game.

The game was absolutely filthy, but no real wear aside from some lifting inserts. The GI connectors to the head were burnt and a few coils were not working. Aside from these issues the game was a solid foundation for the extensive restoration/shop job I had planned.

Overall T2 is a fun fast game with a sweet art package.

Got an awesome deal on mine for $350 in great shape and working, but obviously that's not the usual find. For a while I saw them on CL all the time for $1100 but it seems they have been selling for around $1500 now working and in good shape.

Nice looking game. One thing you might want to consider is putting the light mod on the hunter killer ship. The lights look cool during the game. Someone was also selling a T1000 for it but it was a very limited run.
