Reading through your comments. I put white lithium grease on the gears when I was finished.@mecha thank you I'll take a look once I'm done fixing the traces on the sound board
@quickray yup I was reading your posts on your restore it was very helpful. And oh yeah that rust is coming off. Well I wanted to get it sand blasted and powder coated but the two shops I reached out to said they charge minimum $100 and $150 for just the sand blasting. So I opted to use a metal wire drill bit and finished with 120 grit sand paper for just the boxes. I plan on spraying it with Rust-Oleum automotive primer, a couple of coats, and then sanding with I think 400 grit sand paper. Believe me I would love to have the powder coat finish but can't justify the entry price of sand blasting. And yes I plan on replacing the CPO since the T1000's face is not going to recover from that scratch, I appreciate the recommendation, I'm going to order it today.

@ArcadeTechGW you're totally right and they've been dangling for 26 years, I'll beep them out
@JukeboxJon I think our cabinets came from the same person (or maybe it's stock?). Yeah it made me cringe for a second and I do plan on adding female connectors and shrink tubing. If you read above I thought these switches had an EMI ring but turns out it was the rubber stoppers that disintegrated and turned rock hard. Yup I checked the gears and they're all good and have all their teeth. Interesting enough this cabinet only has 48,000 coins on its meter, seems pretty low for this game. Did you apply grease to the gear locations and the axel by chance?

Good luck with everything. It's coming along. These T2 cabs are a lot of work.
