new guy, have searched a bit. Had a slow left flipper. cleaned the button contact and the rod but still slow. put in a new coil for that flipper and now i get nothing and it blows the fuse as soon as you engage the flipper? Any thots are appreciated. thxs for your time, paul

got it figured out. I originally wired the new coil just like the old one (same wires to same post's on the coil) the 2 coils are different tho, the diode direction is "reversed" which was shorting it out right away. Live and learn right,,,,,,,,,,,, wierd how they could be different but that solved the issue. thxs for your time

got it fixed

Thanxs for all the suggestions. got 2 new coils (they are cheap) and a flipper rebuild kit. While i was at it a got a bunch of lights and replaced about 10 burnt out ones and vacuumed out the machine, cleaned the playing field and put the correct SB fuses in (didnt know it until after removing a few but some where over fused).
Man i forgot how good the flippers worked on this machine and how good this game really is. The dot matrix and the sound is awesome. All the parts cost around 40 bucks. What a bargain. Thxs again fellas, paul
