Keep in mind that T2 is pre-fliptronic so full solenoid voltage is going through all of the EOS switch wiring as well. There are a lot of potential shorts among all of those wires, lugs, the spark-suppression capacitor, etc. something might be barely touching something else and the vibration from the flippers activating causes a momentary short.
Can also be bad flipper diode, or a worn spot on the solenoid that has rubbed through the paper cover and is touching something.
I would check all of the wiring very very closely for a potential intermittent short.
You could de-solder one power wire from each side at a time and run the flipper on the other side to narrow down which side is the problem.
