There is a 'cradle' behind the drop-target which sends a capture ball over to the pivoting gun on the right side of the playfield via a wire 'tunnel'.

Something on mine failed, and I cannot find any replacement for it. As it stands, I took some light glue and put the cradle/pedestal back on to the solenoid, because if this piece is removed, the ball can get wedged in the area, and it's nearly impossible to remove wihtout disassembly.

It appears like there was a sliding mechanism of sort with what was likely a press-fit rolled pin. I forget what those are called right this minute....

When whatever it is broke, it turned to powder, 'cause I never found anything other than 'crumbs'.

Any idea where I can obtain a new one, or what I can do to trick the switch under there to behave like it should? It'll kick out, eventually, but you must wait for the machine to check for a stuck ball.

Thanks!

On my phone now. But I had nearly the same issue. Got all the parts I needed from Marco. Instead if a roll pin I used a piece of piano wire bent in a U shape. I think I posted pics here. Search for terminator skull. Will reply again later on a non phone.

If you're in a hurry and it is a roll pin you can get them from home depot, lowes, ace, true value, and a bunch of other places. Just tap the new roll pin in and done!

Thanks, but the plastic disintegrated, too, so there's nothing to put it back into.

Oddly enough, it's been fine the past day. Go figure. The ball cradle is missing, but for the time being, I'm running with it (and searching for replacement parts via Marco...THANK YOU beerorkid!)

Beerorkid, I owe you a beer!
