Selling my Tempest upright, since I just got a cabaret. I've had it for three years and rebuilt most everything:
It's been solid and reliable for me, and plays great. The cabinet is in good shape for an unrestored game, with no water damage or major flaws. The art has typical wear, with some scratches and dings on the sides, cracking at the bends on the marquee & control panel overlay, and a couple cigarette burns, but is in better shape than a lot I've seen. The back door sheet is present, but the manuals aren't. The coin mechs and cashbox are all present and in good shape.
Asking $650 cash. Credit cards accepted for a small additional fee. Open to reasonable offers and trades for cabaret games.
- Rebuilt power supply with new Big Blue
- New power cable (broken ground pin on the old one)
- Rebuilt AR2 board with new caps & transistors
- New locks installed (comes with a set of two keys)
- Spinner rebuilt with new bushings
- Monitor completely rebuilt with new caps, deflection transistors with new thermal grease, new LV transistors, reflowed header pins, and broken wires and connectors replaced.
