Hey VectorJunkie take a peek: She's up and she IS HOT!

I rebuilt the AR board, ordered the deluxe rebuild kit from bob roberts for the monitor, even ordered an LV200 [although I decided against installing it]. I also ordered and installed Bob Roberts [delux] power supply rebuild kit.

So I put her all back together fully expecting to spend hours and hours tracking down voltages and problems... but instead she sprang to life!

Thanks for all help!

Um, how do I set her to take coins?

That looks great! :) And Tempest is one of the few games that you can play on its side.

Seriously though, you really should consider installing that LV2000. I picked up a Tempest this weekend and you guessed it... Fried resistors in the LV section.

Anyway, Congrats!

Manual says to adjust the dip switches at N13 on the Analog Vector Generator PCB.

Hello,

do you have a rough estimate of what all that stuff cost?

thanks.

Tempest : $400

Atari AC Power Supply Repair Kit + 8' Line Cord $27.00
Atari A/R II-02 to -06 Repair Kit (Caps+Q2/3/8/9+R30) $12.00
K6100 Repair Package Deluxe - Cap Kit +
Additional Parts Kit + Q603/604/703/704 $40.00
Atari Tempest PCB Replacement Pot Kit (8) $12.00

LV2000 $36

So ~ $525 for the tempest...
