Anyone see this before? Is it a monitor or board problem? Thank you for any help.

Just for fun, take the PCB out of the holder. You have a inner-connect cable on the
rear of each board unplug each side and flip it and reinstall. The connector is not keyed
so you should have no issues doing this. If the game now comes up after you reinstall the
PCB you probably have cold solder joints on the connector pins. It will not play long in this
state, but at least you would now know the cause of the problem.
 
Did flipping cable help? Trying to keep log of Tempest problems in-case mine goes on the blink.
 
I'm currently in Texas for Spring break. I will probably work on it this weekend.
