I have a boardset that I have had a lot of work done on already but still seem to be having issues. On top of that I broke a leg on a chip last night while examining the board.

Needs more sockets installed and looked over.

Anyone?

what are the issues /symptoms you are having? What chip has the broken leg- you will want to fix that obviously first.

When you say a lot of work done already. By you, by others you paid, by who known who and when? Knowing what others did via a repair log will help narrow down things.

I usually start from scratch again. Power, connectors, test mode reports.

I had reflowed the header pins awhile back, replaced the interconnect cable and cleaned and reseated all of the chips. Recently a friend replaced several scokets and rebuilt the monitor with one of Bob's deluxe kits. I have rebuilt the ARII and power block also.
I have owned this Tempest for about 6 plus years and have had it working less than half that time. I'm tired of dealing with it. I need outside help now!!

Got it working again. Bridged the broken pin to another pin (trace on PCB just looped to a another pinon the same chip). Guess maybe a poor connection somewhere. Had it running for 4 hours with no glitches and it plays great once again!
