Working Tempest PCB for sale. Video adjustment pots have been replaced with ones that will not get bent and break off. Op-amps and DAC08 in analog section socketed and replaced (and one other logic chip on the main board). Inter-board header pins reflowed and cleaned. Pins, edge connector, and legs of all ROMs, PROMs, 2901s and POKEYs cleaned and treated with NEVR-DULL.

This is a rev A board running the original revision 1 code. It has been tested for several days and multiple on/off cycles. Confirmed the high score save circuit and EAROM are working.

Price includes shipping and board will carry a one year warranty.

If you prefer the rev2 code, I also have a rev C board with those ROMs installed. Same work done to this board set to make it as reliable as possible. It also has all four 1495s socketed.

It even has the foam between boards and the original zip ties to hold on the harness.

Ooooh. All gold ROMs on that second board. Those are super uncommon. But totally worth it, as you'll never have socket issues if you have gold ROMs on gold sockets. Those always have zero oxidation, from the ones I've seen. I wish Atari had done all of them that way.

My favorite feature is the piece of blue tape marked 'good'. Then you know it has to be good!

Great deal from a great vector guru. Buy with confidence.

For those on a budget, I also have board set #3, which has not had the adjustment pots replaced (but they were sprayed with contact cleaner and are working well). It also had damage to three pins of the edge connector on the main board, which I have repaired (see pictures). Therefore, this one only earns an 'OK' label even though it is 100% functional. Two of the program RAMs on the main board were socketed and replaced, as was the audio amp on the AUX board. The legs of all the socketed chips and interboard connector pins were cleaned and treated same as the other sets. Discount price of $325.

Is it unwise to list three for sale at the same time? Too much supply? Too little demand?

Surely the price is not too high. After all, these actually work.
