Tempest - Misalignment

Well I know you guys have been on the edge of your seat wondering what was going to happen next. :p

I'm sending the PCB's out for repair. :)

Stayed tuned for the next installment of "How the Tempest Turns" in a week or two maybe. I'm not sure how long it's going to take exactly.

But I'm hoping for a major plot twist.

So just a followup in case anybody wanted the details on what the fix was on the pcb's to get the Tempest working (http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=151975).

This is kind of a copy/paste from my pm's...and I have no clue to what it really means....but here's the scoop on what was repaired.

----------------------------------------------------------------

D11 op amp was bad (for y?) - replaced and test screen back to 100%

Straightened the bent pin on the Bit slicer, and still no joy on the mathbox.

Next step was to check signatures on the custom proms on the aux board.

Found 129 and 130 to be bad. Burned some new proms and everything came up good.

Op amps for x failed after testing. D11 bad and replaced.

---------------------------------------------------------------

I think that was everything.

Now you know the rest of the story.
