Tempest Irish Marquee Interest

Amazing that we're getting some progress on this. If you're willing to sell one of the misprinted marquee overlays, I'd be happy to buy one too.

I can take pictures of minev over the weekend it's in a storage unit but it's relatively safe I just have to go there and bring some extra lights

Here's the picture of mine It's not the best I had to hold up an LED light behind me. I hope is that the spring I can get to this machine. Which reminds me I'm probably going to need to get myself a tarry power brick for it If anyone's got out there to trade or sell

Just a quick update.
Test prints came back.

Bottom print is the first test print with the color issues. You can see the yellowing the upper left hand corner and scratches in the upper right. These are a couple of the obvious issues that were correct. There were a TON of others.

The top pic is the latest test print (Not laminated).
This is basically a sizing print and a second color test.

Sizing was spot on. A couple minors tweaks to the color and one logic correction. The 'speaker grids' are cut and not printed white. I'll give it a final look over before they gets printed.

There was a request for an overlay to match. If anyone has a scan of an Irish overly let me know

If ANYONE see ANYTHING that needs to be corrected or changed please let me know.

Once the changes are made I'll run a small batch.

Back with update.
Installed a final test print today. I won't be able to get it in a game (to do a light test) until tomorrow. It fits perfect and looks great.
The printer said he used an incredibly sticky vinyl... which if you do this stuff every day...installing it won't be an issue. But if you need it unstick a 1/4 inch to squeegee and air bubble out..it was super challenging.

I've asked if he had anything a little less aggressive and of course he does.

Once in get this installed this weekend I'll offer them up for sale. I think it best to ship them flat. I'll also have pricing this weekend once the printer gets back to me on his cost. I'm shooting for a target price of $55 plus shipping.

The printer will printing lots of 4 with (obviously) a minimum of 4.

The speaker vents are cut like the original along with the notch at the top for clearance for the wood on the back side

I'll probably start a new thread for the selling side.

Looks fantastic. Thank you for doing this! I will order it as soon as possible.

Do you need the original glass to make this work? My marquee was damaged and removed, so I'd need to replace it back into the cabinet

Really looks nice installed. Congratulations, you have the first new Irish Tempest marquee ever in the history of the world! (Since 1982 :))
