Hello,
I just got my Tempest Cocktail running with the help of KLOV. Now that it is powering on, it has a distorted picture. I tried doing the adjustments on the PCB but can not get the mazes correct. I could adjust certain test screen grids but not ones that correct this issue. It also causes the spot killer to come on and the screen shuts off. For some reason when you put credits and press player start it comes back up again and you can play Tempest with the distorted screen. After the game is over, the screen may shut off again. Sometimes you can get it into the test screen, other times it causes the spot killer, screen crash when you flip the test switch. It will also crash during the attract mode. I tried reseating all the monitor connections and PCB connections. I tried researching this issue, but did not find anything similar to my screens distorted grids.
It does not give any rom errors duing the test screen.
Has anyone seen this (distorted grids & random spot killer crash) or know what is causing it?
