I have a machine I am considering selling, and just wanted to get an opinion on sale price.

-Monitor has been rebuilt with Bob Roberts kit and LV6100. It has typical tempest burn.
-ARII rebuild
-Spinner bushing upgrade
-Big blue replaced on Trans. Assy
-Cosmetic condition is probably a 7.5 all around with some minor peeling around the bottom
-CP looks nice with minor cig burns on the top right side.
-Coin door will be repainted

You're on the wrong side of the country for me to be interested. ;) Around here they typically go for $600-$800+ range. The + is for those that ask for more, but have it around forever. Don't seem to pop up all that much.

It might carry a small premium over the full size, but not by much, unless it's really minty and there is a collector who really really wants a nice example.

A lot of people seem to prefer the full size machine, as far actually playing the game is concerned.

I actually think one of the best cabarets is the Centipede because they managed to use the same size monitor in a much smaller cabinet. Full size centipede is one heavy motherf*....

A Tempest cabarat has a 19" monitor too... It is, after all, the exact same cab as Centipede.

let me clarify, the cabaret tempest just doesn't feel the same as the full size, whereas the centipede seems actually better as a cabaret.

yes I need to work out, but age is creeping up on me, I am not the man I used to be, there's a shadow hanging over me, and I have some major league back breaking stairs that the games go up to my arcade...and I'm all outta favors with my neighbors....

I sold one 2 days before Christmas that was absolutely MINT with a rebuilt monitor for a whopping $1200! Granted, this is not the normal selling price, but was my "you're crazy if you don't take the money" price.
